Review :)

I've decided to review each book that i read on my list...

So i had been reading the twilight series over the christmas break so when new year's rolled around i was on eclipse (yeah some of you will be like "why would you read that") So i will not review Eclipse or Breaking Dawn but those were the first two books.

My third book was one that i had never read before called The Age of Innocence. I was pretty bored and i found a copy downstairs with all my parents old books. It is by Edith Wharton and it won the 1921 Pulizer Prize so i figured it would be good. It was ;). It was really good... haha usually i have trouble reading period novels (this was set in the 1870s) but i really understood this one and the plot was easy to follow, though i sometimes mixed the characters up because everyone was called by their last names... It had a really good climax so if you have an interest in period novels this one is good for you. There is also a 1993 movie with michelle pfeiffer, daniel day-lewis and winona ryder which i plan to watch soon.

Books 4 through 7 are the sisterhood of the travelling pnats series. I got very sentimental at the beginning of the week and started to read them. i'm currently on the second book of the series and as i read them i am waiting for the next book on my list to come in at the library (i'll tell you what it is when i get to it)

Well, i'm going to go write some more so my bestie doesn't have a stroke because she can't read it ;)

New Year's Resolution Fail....

This whole idea that i was going to blog every day isn't really working out for me is it? Haha... oh well, i'm blogging now. Exams are done after many days where school was cancelled for the snow and now, on the first day we actually went back to normal classes, we get an early dismissal. It has been snowing for about 6 hours now and it's supposed to last until rush hour tomorrow... lovely.

I have finally gotten around to writing (as well as blogging) and i really enjoy it. I can't believe i let myself stray away from writing for so long. Hopefully now that i have a study hall built into my schedule i'll have more free time.... (we'll see).

I am on the track team and i recently made states in my event (shotput). I'm very excited but also very nervous. I bearly made the length requirement (28 ft) and i know there are people that can easily throw 35ft and more.... oh well, i'll get over it.

The snow outside my window is currently falling so hard it looks like gigantic cotton balls.

I am writing my story that i have tentatively dubbed "Fire and Ice" i quite enjoy the storyline so far as i am making it up as i go along. I have a few ideas as to where it's going but most of the big decisions still remain a mystery to me.

I am currently listening to a Lifehouse CD and i plan on listening through my four Lifehouse CDs, three Taylor Swift, two Boys Like Girls, Enrique Iglesias, and Owl City.... hahah pretty diverse selection there i know...

As to that list of books i made, i currently have about 45 on it. I am waiting on some books from the library and then i can begin reading :D

FAILLLLL!

Okay, so I know I was supposed to do another post the other day but I got so busy with studying...

But I'm excited for many reasons right now...
1. My bestest friend in the whole wide world (KAITLIN) is visiting and I got to see her today
2. I get to see her again and have dinner/movie/sleepover extravaganza with her and our fwend(s) Amba (and maybe Hezzur)
3. I finished Christmas shopping and wrapping those presents (though I'm pretty flat broke right now.... oh well)
4. I have a track meet tomorrow with some of my other friends
5. Christmas is in two days!!!!!
6. I know two presents I'm getting for Christmas and I've wanted them for a really long time
7. And I don't know why I'm happy for number seven but i like the number seven. Oh I know, I got a sweater and two shirts that were originally $85 for only $40 hehehehe :D

So, now for a little rant... I went on a field trip today and one of my teacher gave my grade sheet to my friend to give to me... but that was such a dumb idea because since I was on the field trip I did not see said friend to get my grade sheet. Here's an idea, why not give me the grade sheet during the 20 minutes I was in class before I left on this field trip?!
Okay, rant over.

Yeah... those hope/dreams/plans are going to have to wait a little longer, I'm not really in a lay-my-whole-life-out-for-the-world-to-see kind of mood right now. I will say one plan though: I want to do this whole "Read 100 Books in a Year" challenge thing my friend told me about. I might put up a list in a few days when I think of some books I actually want to read ;)

First Post (So exciting!!!)

Hello World!

How are you this fine Sunday evening when I should be studying for my Marine Bio test tomorrow? (Haha)
Anyway... this is my first post and I am super excited (as shown in my title). I'm not really sure what to write about in my blog except that it's fairly late for me to be awake on a Sunday night before school (yeah 9:40 isn't all that late for some of you out there). I plan to try and write again tomorrow when I have more time to devote to this. For now I will just say that I am planning on adding a heck of a lot more songs to my playlist tomorrow and I will update you on my hope/dreams/plans and all that fun stuff that you probably don't care about ;)
